Maple Grove Resort

Wish I could rate more than 5 stars. This is a beautiful resort with fully furnished cabins and everything you need. The best part, the owners/hosts. Mike and Demone are the most friendly and amazing couple you’ll ever meet! If you are a serious salmon/trout fisher this is your number 1 destination. I also recommend this to families (incredibly family friendly) and those who are first time fisherman. Private access to the salmon river, beautiful views, amazing cabins, and top notch management, what more can you ask for? We can’t wait to book our next stay -the Mustafa Family

Have been staying here for almost 10 years during steelhead season. There are new owners this year and I couldn't go 5 stars. Pets are no longer allowed, the kitchen is now very sparsely outfitted (no pots, just cast iron kettle and frying pan, no spatula, 4 of plates, cups, forks, etc), smoke detectors went off at odd times (ie not cooking, heat off, not showering) when we did need new towels, or to settle our account, there was no one around to assist. Cabins are comfortable, beds and pillows the same - comfortable but not overly comfortable. Location is easy to access from most anywhere. The cabins have been traditionally occupied by sportsmen and women during the fishing seasons and they are perfect for this. The area is a destination location for mostly fisherman as the river is well known throughout history for its salmon and steelhead runs. We will likely stay here once more in 2020 and hope for some minor improvements.

The fully equipped accommodations and the friendly owners were the best! The owners were very considerate and helpful. They made our first trip to the Salmon River area a wonderful and relaxing experience. Our cabin was super clean and well-organized. The comfortable towels and bedding along with the retro style appliances and deer antler chandelier reflect how much thought and attention to detail that the owners have put into making a stay at the resort just perfect. We've already booked another stay.

This is our favorite place. Freindly staff and owners, clean well taken care of cabins. Great stretch of river to fish for steelhead, salmon and trout. If you have a chance to book this resort dont hesitate it is top of the line and the best we have found in the area.

Place was always great when Sharon owned it. The new owners have made it even better. They have invested heavily in improvements to the cabins. They want the cabins to be something that they would be happy in. Nice way to think about it. We absolutely enjoy our stay every time.

My friend and I stayed here a few weeks ago and it could not have been better. The cabin and the grounds were very clean and nice. It was the best place we have stayed up on the river. It was a short walk to the river that is private. But the best part of our stay was the owners. From the initial phone call to the end of the stay. They were the nicest people and not only kept everything really nice and clean but also made us feel comfortable. They made sure we had everything we needed and helped us with fishing information and pointed us in the right direction. They really go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience. Without a doubt best place on the river.

Oct 2024 This was our 5th year staying at Maple Grove Resort Cabins with my 2 sons (10 and 13yr old) while fishing the Salmon River. The cabins are very well kept, very clean and well stocked with sensible items to allow you to have a pleasant stay especially if you plan on cooking a little. We cook on the custom campfire grates that are there every year so having cast iron pans, nonstick spray, some cooking utensils and good dish soap are important to me. Having private access to the river is really cool especially if you want to stay away from some of the crowds elsewhere, it really is a peaceful beautiful place. Mike takes care of the cabins and grounds around them very well and D’Amone is extremely good at communicating when scheduling your stay. The owners, Mike and D’Amone, have made such an impact on our trips there every year there just aren’t enough words I can use to articulate. They care so much about my kids and put forth such a great effort to make sure they’re taken care of and have a great time while there. They even put cool fishing Lego’s out and Swedish fish to snack on for them when we arrive. This year it worked out that they took us out fishing and showed us another amazing place to fish on the river. They really passed on a wealth of knowledge to my boys and I and that really allowed us to have the best fishing trip there that we have ever had! We were extremely successful fly fishing hooking into well over 40 salmon and 1 steelhead between the 3 of us! Our trips aren’t just about catching fish, it’s about connecting with my boys out in nature and having the absolute best adventures with them. Mike and D’Amone get that and they help me achieve that each year. It’s much more than just a place to stay for us, it’s an experience. I am so lucky and grateful to have found them 5 yrs ago and they are part of the reason I’ve been able to have such an amazing time each year with my boys. We look forward to this trip all year and it wouldn’t be the same if we stayed somewhere else. We greatly appreciate everything you both do and have done for us over the years!! This place is amazing! Not only was the cabin exceptionally clean and well stocked, but the owners Mike and D’Amone were so generous, kind, and helpful for the entire stay. This was our first time fishing for salmon and Mike and D’Amone were so kind as to take us out on our first night to show us the basics. They made sure we had all the knowledge we needed and were always willing to offer tips to make sure the rest of our stay was great! Definitely recommend staying here and will be back in the future!!
